Cleanliness is a Great concern. I arrived early this morning. The meat that I was looking had to be retrieved from the back. I stood by the meat counter where employees were taking customers orders for meat in the case. I noticed meat on the floor and watched ad at least 4-5 employees just walked pass the meat on the floor. I informed an employee of the obvious, loose meat on the floor she looked at it and said, "Okay!" I was hoping that she would pick it up but. she did Not! I informed a total of 4 other employees behind the counter and no one picked up the dirty meat on the floor. I think that they are not aware that Food Inspectors or USDA can shut them down for sanitation reason. They sure did not care about my concern as a two time customer. I will take my money somewhere else.

Laniers is always a great experience. Friendly staff and a great product. They always make me look like a grill master. I asked for some of the t-bones on special, but they were out except what was in the cooler. I picked out the best of what was left, and they were really good steaks! Great marbling and huge filet dections made me look like a boss. Suck good potions of beef!

Interesting smell granite its a meat market so be prepared its a FRESH meat smell (I'm a firstimer) 😂 the waiting line was a little wonky but once you order, everything is prepared and packaged for you , to the checkout line in a cart. Now my biggest qualm was parking but they do have more parking one lot over which is a double edged sword, nothing you wouldn't walk if you where at walmart or a bigger grocery store, but now let's get to the taste. My favorite meat thus far has to be the beef and chicken super good super flavorful just something about fresh, healthy, farm raised meat that fuels the soul. Great place to get your food from, the staff are even better EVEN when interacting with fussy customers when there is a mishap in who goes first (honest mistakes where human) there super patient & kind. Definitely would recommend it love how they sell there meats in packaged bundles

Ever since discovering Lanier’s Meat Market a couple years ago, I genuinely refuse to buy my meats from regular commercial grocery stores anymore. The difference in freshness, quality, and overall selection is THAT noticeable. Their meat always tastes fresh, the variety is amazing, and the prices are honestly better than a lot of big chain stores while giving much better quality. Whether I’m looking for everyday meats or something specific for a good home-cooked meal, they always have plenty to choose from. The customer service is consistently great too. Everyone is always friendly, helpful, and makes the experience feel personal instead of rushed like most grocery stores nowadays. If you care about quality meat and supporting a solid local business, Lanier’s is absolutely worth it. One of my favorite places in Augusta without question.

Great place to get your meats if you live here locally or visiting and want to do a cookout outside. The meat is fresh and it is less expensive than other meat markets with fresh meats. I highly recommend you to stop by and check it out if you are in need of good beef, products or pork. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you want to be here in less busy day come during the day and on a weekday if not then I’ll be ready to wait a little bit but it’s not too bad.
